BILL FERGUSON

ILLUSTRATOR

I was lucky enough to illustrate more than 450 objects from the Houston Museum of Natural Science's permanent collection. The assignment took me a year to hand draw, then color each object digitally. I am beyond proud of how this map and family guide look and I hope kids and their families love it just as much as I do.

Hello my name is Bill Ferguson and I have been a professional Illustrator since I graduated from The Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida in 2006.

Since then I have been working as a Freelance Illustrator, Mural Artist, Scenic Artist, and Painting Teacher living and working in the Houston Texas area.

My talent is to adapt my artistic skills and creativity to whatever the client wants. Those clients include The Houston Museum of Natural Science, The Alley Theatre, First Choice Emergency Rooms and Stone Soup Traditional Animation.

Capable of working traditionally as well as digitally in Photoshop, Illustrator and Painter, I bring my client's idea to life in a professional and timely manner.

I have the training and the ability to successfully paint 100 pediatrics room murals all around Texas and Colorado or illustrate The Firefly and The Stars, a children's book based off the Award Winning Animated Short Film. The Firefly and The Stars is now published and available for purchase at barnesandnobel.com/w/the-firefly-and-the-stars-renato-agagliate/1103539583

In 2018 I had the opportunity to help as a scenic painter for the Alley Theatre's production of The Cake and Holmes and Watson.

It's been a great career for me and I'm enthusiastic and excited to get the project or commission that is unconventional and challenging.
Because I will always work my tail off to make sure the end result fits the Bill!

Let me know what I can create for you.

I love dogs, that's why I proudly partner with "Wild Flowers By The Light House" of Barnegat Light, New Jersey to paint giant plywood pet portraits. The money raised from these portraits benefits the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter in New Jersey. The benefactors of each portrait get to have their pet's portrait displayed every summer at the Barnegat Light Dog Park in Long Beach Island New Jersey. The dogs love the paintings too.
